What We Will Do
+ Use leading techniques backed by Applied Behavior Science
+ Create happy, enthusiastic, “what can I do for you” dogs
+ Establish a mutually respectable relationship with your dog
What We Won’t Do
+ Use intimidation, fear, or pain to get your dog to do (or not do) something
+ Rely on debunked, disproven theories
+ Turn your dog into a robot without joy, excitement, or a personality
Why
+ Dogs trained with only Positive Reinforcement have the highest level of obedience; Dogs trained only with aversive methods have the lowest; dogs trained with a balanced approach fall somewhere in the middle
+ Aversive methods carry a well-documented risk of creating fears, phobias, avoidance behaviors, and/or aggression
